About Jane Dunn Borresen

Jane Dunn Borresen

Jane Dunn Borresen. Jane is known in Norway for her colorful still life paintings of motives taken from everyday rituals. She describes what we are all longing for, time to appreciate the simple pleasures in an otherwise hectic daily lifestyle, and shows that seemingly mundane objects are worth celebrating. Favorite objects and fabrics are often placed together in a chaotic harmony. Treasures brought back from holiday,an inherited chair, books bought at a flea market, well worn shoes belonging to a good friend. The list is endless! Perhaps her theatrical background explains why the scene is often set and the characters are temporarily off stage.... ready to re enter at any moment. CV: Jane Dunn Borresen. B.
